Linter was founded in 1988 by professionals with extensive experience in information systems for the industrial area.
At the time, the company's flagship was CIMMRP II, a materials planning software developed under the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) concept.
In its first version, the CIMMRP II controlled the entire flow of Planning and Production Control, Purchasing, Costs, and Material Receiving.
Evolving according to the clients' needs, the CIMMRP II gained new financial and accounting modules until it became an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
However, after all these years of evolution, some questions were never satisfactorily answered by the MRP philosophy, many of them due to the simplistic premise that there is infinite capacity in the factory.

In 1997, Linter focused again on specific solutions for planning, scheduling and production control and started to develop the Drummer APS.

Initially conceived under the concepts of the Theory of Constraints as a factory scheduling module, the Drummer APS also evolved, had new modules added and today controls the entire production chain of its customers.

Linter offers a line of products and services, which are simple in their operation and implementation, allowing companies of all sizes to have quick answers about their supply chain.
