Drummer PRO is a tool aimed to balance and synchronize the production process, based on the production bottlenecks, comprising machines, tools and raw materials. It gives the user the ability to quickly answer to the constant changes in the production process, market demands, always respecting the corporate assumptions and goals.
Its main features are the same of Drummer APS, however some specific features have been introduced in order to let it more adherent do process industries, mainly related to bulk production and packaging. These features comprise:
Losses Minimizing
It allows the production batches for those items assigned as ‘Bulk Production’ to be created to meet several orders for different end products. In this demand grouping process, the user can define what is desired, if minimizing the losses or balancing the load.
Left Quantities of Bulk Production
Automatically treats the left quantities generated by the bulk production in case the demands for the end items are not sufficient to consume the whole bulk. The user can define the rules to allocate these left quantities.
Tanks and Bins Limitations
During the scheduling, the system will also consider storage bins and tanks limitations, besides the production resources, if you declare them as constraints.
Minimum and Maximum time for packaging
It creates the schedule synchronizing the bulk production with the packaging so that any requirements related to minimum/maximum times between these two processes can be satisfied.
CIP
It treats the production tanks scheduling considering the constraints related to cleaning equipment and pipelines availabilities.
