Drummer APS is the core component of the system and responsible to balance and synchronize the production process, based on the production bottlenecks, comprising machines, tools and raw materials. It gives the user the ability to quickly answer to the constant changes in the production process, market demands, always respecting the corporate assumptions and goals.

Simulation
It allows the user to run an unlimited number of simulations of the production process, as changes in the backlog and simulations of the impact of changes and disruptions on the shop floor. The simulation processes are extremely fast once they are processed in RAM memory, turning the system into a powerful tool in supporting the decision process.

Scenarios
You can create several ‘views’ or ‘scenarios’ of the process, enabling the comparison among them, in terms of efficiency and results.

“What if…”
Allows the user to perform ‘what if…’ real-time simulations aimed to analyze the impact of actions on decisions to be taken.

Available To Promise
Keep the information related to the ‘Available to Promise’, so that the user can assure the fulfillment of new orders on the requested date, based on on-hand stocks and work in process availabilities.

Resources
It can be configured to view and take into account several types of simultaneous constraints, such as machines, materials, manpower, tools and other auxiliary resources.

Urgent Orders
It treats the impact of an urgent order on the production process. It also verifies the feasibility of its fulfillment, besides analyzing the impact on the production process.

Configurable
The Drummer engine allows the user to implement rules indicating the software how to treat specific characteristics of the production process, demand management and purchase management.

Load Simulation
Based on the requirements defined by the sales department, this module compares the available capacity with the projected load for each resource of the plant, previously identifying the bottlenecks, before the scheduling process takes place.

Tools and Raw Materials
Among the variety of existing constraints, it will consider both the tools and raw materials availabilities, now as well as in the future, that could limit the production start.
